Newsletter. Subscriptions are handled by Substack. Your email address is used only to send you DatabaseStory content and is kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time from the link in every email.
Audience measurement. The site uses GoatCounter, which sets no cookies and collects no personal data. Podcast downloads are counted by OP3, an open measurement service. Statistics are anonymous and aggregated.
